1986年出生於廣東雲浮。中國美術學院新媒體系學士,中國美術學院跨媒體藝術學院碩士。2011-2012年參與瑞士蘇黎世藝術大學(ZHDK)藝術與媒體項目。作品被收藏於藝術機構及私人藏家。目前創作主要圍繞能量轉換,維度空間以及機械運動三個研究方向,創作媒介涉及聲音,機械裝置,水墨動畫等,生活工作於杭州。鄧悅君的作品曾在多個國內藝術機構展出,包括中國美術學院、上海民生現代美術館、新時線媒體藝術中心、麓湖·A4美術館、北京時代美術館、上海當代藝術館、想像力學實驗室、OCAT深圳館等。
Yue-Jun Deng was born in Yunfu, Guangdong. He holds a BFA in New Media Art and an MFA in Intermedia Art from the China Academy of Art. His works were featured in the section of Arts and Media at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHDK) from 2011 to 2012, and were collected by art institutions and private collectors. His creative themes evolve around the conversion of energy, dimensionality and mechanized movement, and his creative media include sound, mechanical installation and ink animation. He currently lives and works in Hangzhou. Deng’s works have been exhibited in multiple art institutions in China, such as the China Academy of Art, Shanghai Minsheng Art Museum, Chronus Art Center, A4 Art Museum, Times Art Museum, MOCA Shanghai, Imago Kinetics Art Center, OCAT Shenzhen, etc. |
囈語2015是囈語系列和影子研究方向的作品。影子屬於二維世界,觸摸不到但無比真實,我一直想運用影子的運動型態來創作。在這個作品裡, 我在上下做呼吸運動的鐵盒子裡放置了不同顏色的LED燈, 形成一組矩陣。燈光的運動以及相互影響形成整體的光線效果,模擬昆蟲族群之間的動態影響。
Somniloquy 2015 originates from the Somniloquy series and is a new work in shadow study. Shadow belongs to a two-dimensional world. It is untouchable but our feelings for shadows are no less real. I always wanted to use the dynamics of shadows as an expression of art. In this work, I put LED lights into breathing iron boxes to constitute a color matrix. The movement of the light and the overall lighting effect forms a simulation of the ecological dynamic of the insect community.
